Kia Nicole is a native of Chicago with a style and class of her own. She took a career journey in non-profit for 20 years serving youth in under-resourced communities working in Chicago and Dallas school districts. In 2018 she became a Texas resident when her employer gave her an opportunity to relocate and grow the Dallas team. As a child her love for hosting people started when her grandmother would teach her how to set the table for family holiday gatherings. Her excitement and passion for hospitality, creativity and event planning has always been a part of who she is. Kia created K.I.W.I (Klassy Incorporated With Inspiration) in 2016 to not only lift the stress and event planning burdens off clients but also for those attendees. Sometimes our busy lives can pull our energy and weigh us down. Kia believes that the atmosphere you’re in can change your mood. Creating and designing the right atmosphere for her clients and attendees is critical. She loves to take a client’s visions and execute every detail until it just feels like the right atmosphere to be in. Kia says, “events should be Klassy, but clients and attendees should walk away from a K.I.W.I event with an experience and inspired”. When designing an event or planning details she is thinking about the client and the attendees. Kia holds a degree in Corporate Communication from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL and a Masters of Spiritual Formation & Discipleship from Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. She spends her downtime traveling, serving in her church, exploring outdoor festivals with friends, family time and trips to the dog park with her ShiTuz Fluffy.
